How to Complete Webkinz Kinzville Academy Levels

 The Kinzville Academy

Taking classes at the Kinzville Academy helps you win Quick Events and Webkinz Stadium competitions.  You can also win cool prizes by completing level 10 of basic courses and level 5 of talent courses.  After 15 days of classes at the Kinzville Academy (3 classes per day - Deluxe classes don't count), your pet can attend Recess. There are 4 activities to do at Recess: Hopscotch, Buried Treasure, Hide and Seek, and Merry-Go-Round. After Recess you get a lunch bag that you can open in your room.

Classes Offered:

BasicThere are 6 Basic Pet Courses at the Kinzville Academy. Each course has 10 levels. When you complete level 5 in any course, you will unlock a new action for your pet. When you complete level 10 in a course, you'll get to choose from a selection of cool prizes. When you complete level 10 in all 6 Basic Pet Courses, your pet will be awarded the diploma from the Kinzville Academy. You are also sure to win Gold in any Quick Event.  The Basic Pet Courses are split into two categories:

Physical: Agility Class, Running Class, Strength Class
Mental: Painting Class, Language Class, Fashion Class

Talent - Deluxe members can complete Talent classes.  Pet Talent Courses do not count towards your diploma. When you complete level 5 in a Pet Talent Course, you'll be awarded a special gift (the Beauty Class Vanity or Cooking Class Griddle). When you complete level 10 in a talent course, a special game (similar to the class) will be unlocked that you can play whenever you want.  Categories:

Cooking: Griddle Class
Grooming: Hairdresser Class

If you reach level 10 in any class, the number of classes that your other pets have to do supposedly decreases significantly.  *Note: I think you have to have finished all 6 classes and have the diploma for this to start working, as my pet Shep has completed level 10 in the Running class but my pet Cassie just reached level 4 in Running and still has 20 classes to do before she gets to level 5, not 16.

Tips:

Agility Class
- The green hurdles are the easiest, the yellow ones medium, and the red ones the hardest.
- You will need some speed to get over the red hurdles.
- If the hurdles are close together, make sure you go slow, otherwise you will trip over one of them.  You will have to adjust your speed throughout the game once you reach higher levels.
- You can jump and go forward at the same time by pressing the forward and up keys.  Don't jump and brake at the same time.

Running Class
- If you spin too fast, you may have to pause the spinner so that the bar goes back down.
- Make small circles on the inside of the spinner instead of large circles around the outer edge. You'll have to move the cursor less if you do this.

Strength Class
- I find this class to be the hardest once you get to level 8+.
- The only advice I have for this game is to go slow and to not click too fast.  There's not much else to it.

Painting Class
- If you aren't sure how much to fill the dropper, fill it on the lesser side.  I find that the paint often looks bigger on the canvas than it does in the dropper, and that you often need less paint than you think you do.
- If the picture is of a circle, set the spinner to level 1. If it is of a blob, set it to level 2.
- Sometimes the order in which you put the paint on the canvas matters.
- The more you play, the better you will get at recognizing what setting to put the spinner on / how much paint to use.

Language Class
- Do the words with the most spaces blanked out together first.  They are by far the easiest to figure out, and by doing them first you narrow down the options for the harder words you have left.  Ex: if there is a word with the first four letters blanked out, look for that word first by scanning the first four letters of all the other corresponding words.
- Do words that have spaces blanked out all over the place last; they are the hardest to figure out.  The less options you have to choose from, the better.
- You can also try matching the words in order from first to last; this looks neater but isn't necessarily easier.
- If you have two or three words left and no strikes yet, just randomly choose a word and match it. Even if you get it wrong and receive a strike, it won't matter and you will know the correct answer to choose next (or at least have a better idea).

Fashion Class
- I find this class to be really easy but boring.  A clever trick is to give a one to two-word name to each piece of clothing, and then say those words repeatedly in your head while making the outfit.
Ex: if the model is wearing the Blue Bubble Vest, White Jeans, Red Bow, and Cowboy Boots, the names would be "bubble, white, bow, cowboy."  Note: it is better to say a word that is specific to the clothing item rather than the colour of the item, as there could be another clothing item that's the same colour in the set (ex: for the Red Bow, don't say "red" - say "bow").
- Another trick is to just take a screenshot (command 4 on mac) of the model's outfit and put it beside the screen.  If you are playing on the Webkinz Desktop app you can't do this as it only lets you play in full screen mode, but you can still take a picture with your phone instead. This is kind of cheating, but it is a useful trick for higher levels if you need it or if you don't have a good short-term memory.

Griddle Class
- If you keep making perfect pancakes (pancakes that are perfectly golden), this will increase the amount of time you have left.  As you advance through the levels, it will become pretty much essential to make perfect pancakes in order to have enough time to complete all of the orders, though it is not necessary on the lower levels.
- Once you complete an order, you have to serve it before you can finish or flip more pancakes. Thus, before you flip the last pancake onto the order, flip all of the other pancakes that haven't been flipped for the first time yet.
- If a pancake is really under-cooked or burnt, you can throw it out.

Hairdesser Class
- I like to do things in the following order: hair colour, style (curl, straighten, or braid), cut, then bows last.
- I ask Plumpy what she wants, then do either 1 or 2 of the tasks (ex: colour and style, ask again, then cut, ask again, then bows)
- All of the tasks are reversible except for hair cutting, so pay the closest attention to that task.  You can always ask again and cut more, but you can't put hair back so it's best to cut less to be safe.
Like in the Fashion class, a good trick is to take a screenshot (or picture with your phone) of Plumpy's hair and put it beside the screen.  This way you can know what she wants without having to ask 5 times (because sometimes you'll need to ask more than that, but can't). Again, this is kind of cheating, but it works.

Language Class level 10 Prizes:

Fashion Class level 10 Prizes:

Talent Course Prizes

Hairdresser Class level 5 Prize: Beauty Class Vanity

Griddle Class level 5 Prize: Cooking Class Griddle

Personally, I find the Running and Painting classes to be the easiest, and the Agility, Intelligence, Griddle, and Hairdresser classes to also be pretty easy.  I find the Fashion class to super easy but extremely time-consuming and boring (which is unfortunate since it has my favourite prizes), and the Strength class to be the hardest!  My favourite prizes are the Art Spinner, the Class Act Chalkboard, the Manicure Chair, and the Superstar Makeup Vanity.

Good luck in class!

Xoxo,
Pippa
