Guide to Webkinz Challenges
Challenges are a great way to earn cool prizes. If you play Webkinz consistently, you will be able to complete most of the challenges offered. There are monthly challenges that occur at random times throughout the year, as well as holiday challenges, trophy challenges, and Deluxe challenges. Each challenge awards three prizes, usually two small prizes and one large prize. Every account also gets to complete a long list of connected challenges (these challenges have multiple parts). Some of my favourite Webkinz items are from challenges!
Usually, challenges require you to earn kinzcash by playing a game and completing daily activities. Here is an example of a current challenge I have almost completed:
Webkinz Challenge Tips
Tip #1: If the challenge requires you to ask friends for items (such as candy
canes, for example), do that right away as it may take time.
Tip #2: If a challenge requires you to earn kinzcash playing a game, I recommend doing the game second, after asking your friends for items. That way, when you complete your daily activities required for the challenge, you will eventually just complete it. That is what I am doing in the challenge above; as you can see, once I make 5 wishes in Wishing Well 2, I will complete the challenge. Also, I find that the game is the most annoying part of the challenge to complete, so I like to get it over with at the beginning.
Tip #3: If you need to collect a certain number of items from friends (ex: candy canes) you can ask Webkinz World characters. If you friend the Webkinz World hosts on your cell phone, you can ask them for items. If they send you an item, it will arrive right away. The characters you can add include: Arte Fact, Amanda Panda, Alyssa Fairy, Ms. Birdy, Ms. Cowaline, Cowabelle, Daisy Doe, Doug the Dog, Fred Rover, Goober, Mr. Moo, Nafaria Fairy, Persephone, Sheldon Turtle, and Tabby Von Meow. I also send my secondary accounts requests for items and send them back to myself.
Tip #4: It is often best to do the challenge even if you don't like the item, since you can trade or sell it later. Once I completed the above challenge, I sold the wreath and hat, and kept the piano.
Tip #5: Don't try to complete a challenge in one go. They often take multiple days to complete.
Tip #6: In the challenge pictured above, I had to feed my pet 10 lemon meringue pies. You can't feed them all to one pet at once, so switch between pets and share them. However, if your pet is full, you can sometimes keep feeding them and while they won't eat the food, it counts toward the challenge.
Tip #7: Often, you will not have a chance to earn the challenge prize again, so it's best to always complete it. Though this is not always the case; I once won a Chocolate Shop Bench during a Valentines Day challenge, and now they are sold at the Wish Factory for 75 wish tokens. Regardless, it's best to complete the challenge so that you can get the item now and not when it costs 100 tokens at the Wish Factory.
Tip #8: Make sure you have time to complete the challenge before starting it. If the challenge ends in two days and you have to spin the Wheel of Wow five times to complete it, you won't have time to complete it before it ends so there's no point in starting it. However, if you really, really want the challenge prize and you need to complete a daily activity but don't have enough time, you can probably purchase extra turns or spins with E-Store points.
Tip #9: Check Webkinz Newz to find out when the next challenge is.
Tip #10: If I have to earn kinzcash playing a game, I will either earn it all at once if I have time or I will earn half the kinzcash on one day and the other half another day. I recommend dividing up the tasks like this.
