The Employment Office

The Employment Office

Doing jobs at the Employment Office is one of my main ways of earning kinzcash.  If you do the right jobs often, you can start earning a lot of kinzcash there every day.

How to earning a lot of kinzcash:

Tip #1: Master a hard job. As you can see on the chart below, the jobs are divided into 3 categories: Easy, Medium, and Hard.  If you make it to level 3 on a hard job, that means you will earn 350 kinzcash every time you do that job. There are only 2 hard jobs; Kinzpost Sorter and Kinzville Mover.  I highly recommend Kinzville Mover.  I personally find it a lot easier and quicker to complete.

Tip #2: Go deluxe.  I realize that that isn't an option for everyone, but if you can go deluxe, do.  You get to do an extra job every day. So, if I master a hard job like Kinzville Mover, I can potentially earn 700 kinzcash a day by doing that job twice.

Tip #3: Do jobs more than once a day.  Since you can do a job every 8 hours, you can potentially do 3 jobs per day (not including your Deluxe job).  If I do the Kinzville Mover three times a day, plus one extra Deluxe time, I can potentially earn 1400 kinzcash a day at the Employment Office.  However, that isn't very realistic, as few people have the time to do that. If you can though, try going on Webkinz in the morning, do a job + your Deluxe job, then log on in the afternoon/evening and do another job.  That is more realistic, and you will earn 1050 kinzcash!

Tip #4: Have at least two medium-level back-up jobs that you can do if there are no hard jobs available that hour.  You should be level three in these jobs (you will earn 250 kc each time).  I like the Grocery Clerk job and the Babysitter job; they are the easiest medium jobs in my opinion.  If you are a fast typer, the Ms. Birdy's Assistant job is not that hard either.

Tip #5: Sometimes you can do extra jobs if you go to Today's Activities.  You don't get to choose what extra job you do, so it's a good idea to be level 3 in most jobs so that you can earn the maximum amount of kinzcash.

I hope this helps!

Wacky Logout Carnival

Wacky Logout Carnival

EDIT 2020: Unfortunately, the Wacky Logout Carnival has been removed from the Webkinz site.  I am leaving this post up for archival purposes, and for the event that it is ever brought back.

The Wacky Logout Carnival is a great way to earn extra kinzcash and receive cool items.  However, it can be difficult to win the big prizes, such as the Wacky Hot Air Balloon.  Here are some tips to make winning much easier.

The carnival has three games, Launch Wacky, Wacky Piñata, and Balloon Dartz.

Launch Wacky:
This game consists of four dials that can be set to different positions prior to clicking the "launch" button. If you launch wacky to the top, you win a Wacky Hot Air Balloon.  There is no guaranteed way of winning this game, but I have noticed that if you set each dial to seven o'clock, you will either win the balloon, or earn a large amount of kinzcash for getting Wacky close to the top.

Wacky Hot Air Balloon

The Wacky Hot Air Balloon can be sold for 250 kc.

Wacky Piñata:
In this game, you get 3 tries to hit the piñata.  You hit it by simply clicking hit (pretty simple).  Again, there is no guaranteed way of winning this game, either.  However, if you wait until the dial is at the end of the red section, and then click 'Hit,' you will likely be able to burst the piñata if you do that every time. That is just based on my own experience, however.  I do that almost every time I go to the carnival, and I pop the piñata almost every single time. In this game, you can win kinzcash, wish tokens, food or daily kinzcare prizes.

Wacky Balloon Dartz:
This game is similar to token balloon dartz or regular balloon dartz.  All you have to do is pop the balloons. Wait until the dial is at the green section to throw your dart or else it will be too high or too low.  You can win kinzcash, daily kinzcare prizes, and wish tokens in this game.

I hope this helps!

How to Get Webkinz Rare Items

How to Get Rare Items

You may have noticed that in many of my rooms I have rare items.  Rare items can be hard to find (hence the name rare), but they are actually not nearly as hard to find as you might think.  Lately I've been buying one every other day! There are 4 main ways to get rare items, which I will discuss below.

Rare Themes & Examples of Rare Items:

Ancient Civilization (very expensive)

Aztec (most expensive)

Medieval

Neo Gothic (least expensive)

Palace Princess (least expensive)

Persian Palace (my favorite!)

Victorian Garden

Whimsical Wonderland

There are also many rare items that are not part of a specific theme, such as these ones:

4 Ways to Get Rare Items:

1. Buy them from the Curio Shop.  This is the classic, most simple option, but it can take a looong time to complete a theme or find the specific item you want.  While it's easy to find rare items in general (you can easily buy at least one rare item every day if you go to the Curio Shop at the right time), each individual rare item only goes on sale about 5 times per year (more or less).  So if you need the Victorian Garden Apollo Fountain to complete a room, that means you will only have around 5 chances per year to buy it from the Curio Shop.  Thus, purchasing rares from the Curio Shop is one of the hardest ways to get specific rare items, though it is one of the easiest ways to get rare items in general. You will also need a lot of kinzcash.  Some of the rare themes (such as the Ancient Civilization, Aztec, and Persian themes) are very expensive, while others (such as the Neo-Gothic and Wonderland themes) are relatively inexpensive.
I highly suggest building up rapport with Arte so that he tells you when the rare items will be for sale. If you buy stuff from him often and tip him 100 kc every day (small tips offend Arte) you will eventually reach level 6, and when you ask him about rare items he will hold up a sign that tells you what time the rare item will be on sale that day:

2. Visit the forum section on Webkinz Newz (this also works if you are looking for other non-rare items).  If you do not know what the forum section is, it is a place on Webkinz Newz where Newz members can discuss Webkinz World related topics.  In the forum section, you post topics and people can reply to them. That is essentially what the forum section is.  Here's what to do: Go to Webkinz Newz.  In the top right corner, click join, and sign up for a Newz account or just log in with your Webkinz account.  Next, click on Forums, then click on Webkinz World.  That will take you to the Webkinz World forum section.  Select the section you want to post in (i.e. 'Giveaways,' 'I Need This Item').  Scroll to the bottom of the page, where you will see two white boxes with the words "Create New Topic In "Webkinz World"".  Now, post a new topic.  If you are looking for items from the Medieval theme, for example, you would title your topic "Looking For Medieval Rares" and then, in the second box, add a bit more information, like what you are offering to trade, which Medieval items you already have, etc.  After your topic has been approved, people can start replying to it. Sometimes, if you are lucky, someone will be very generous and offer you whatever you are looking for for free.  This has happened to me two times.  I posted on Webkinz Newz about how I was looking for  Persian rares, and someone offered me a ton of the Persian items for free.  I friended them and they sent me all the items through kinzpost.  If somebody does that for you, be sure to thank them with a reply on the forums and a note through kinzpost. Don't ask people to do that for you, though!  If they want to, they will offer.  Be sure to pass on the kindness, too!  If you see someone on the forums who really needs an item you have and you don't really need it, offer it to them for free if you can.  They will be very thankful.

3. Use the Trading Room at the Clubhouse. I highly, highly recommend using Kinzchat Plus.  It makes trading SO much easier.  Just go to the trading room and shout out exactly what you are looking for and/or what you have for trade. You can also ask people to trade and ask if they have a specific item, and if they do they can tell you exactly what they want for it.  Using kinzchat plus makes trading easier, faster, and more efficient.

4. Visit the Webkinz subreddit and post your trading list (just search 'Webkinz' on reddit and you will find the sub).  Again, this works for non-rare items too, and you can also post ISO's if you only need one thing.  It's similar to the Newz forum section, but it isn't regulated by Ganz so you have much more freedom in terms of what you can post or comment, and you don't have to wait for posts or comments to be approved by moderators. You can also look at other user's trade / wish lists here. To make a trade list, create a Google doc and set it so that anyone with the link can view it.  Type out all of the items that you have for trade, and then all of the items that you're looking for.  It's best to include the exact names of items as well as screenshots so that people know what items you're talking about (you can find pictures of Webkinz items via Google, and if you put the item in your dock and mouse over it you can see what the exact name of it is).  If you make your trade list detailed and easy to read (pictures are a must!), people will probably want to trade with you.  You can also just make a trade room, screenshot it, and then post the screenshot (people won't be able to see the names of the items you're offering, however).  People are really nice on this subreddit, and I have never had anyone scam me or back out of a trade.

I hope this helps you find some rare items!

The Webkinz Curio Shop

The Curio Shop

Here are some tips about the Curio Shop.

You can buy many cool items at the Curio Shop, including rare items.  If you buy stuff from Arte often and tip him well, he will eventually tell you what time he is selling the rare item that day.  Once you start tipping him 100 kinzcash everyday, you will notice that his greeting to you changes.

The Curio Shop Levels:

Level 1: Arte says "Welcome to the Curio Shop.  Hope you find what you're looking for.
Level 2: Arte says "Welcome back.  See if you can find the bargain today."
Level 3: Arte says "Hey, welcome back.  If you see something you like, let me know."
Level 4: Arte says "Good to see you again.  Have fun shopping."
Level 5: Arte says "Ahh, one of my favorite customers.  Let me see what I can do for you."
Level 6: Arte says "There you are! Always great to see you.  My shop is your shop."

Deluxe Level: If you are a Deluxe member, Arte says "Well if it isn't one of my extra special customers. Welcome to the Curio Shop!" or he will say, depending on which level you are on, one of the other phrases.

If you click on "Ask About Rare Items" and you are level 6, Arte will hold up a sign showing you what time the next rare item will be available that day.

Hint: Arte usually has rare items up for sale in the afternoon (1pm-5pm), as opposed to the morning and late evening.

How To Move Up Levels:

In order to move up levels, you must tip Arte often. No small tips! Small tips offend Arte, so give him at least 50 kinzcash.  Moving up levels can take a long time, but tipping Arte 100 kinzcash almost every day definitely speeds up the process (that's what I did). You also have to buy things from Arte every so often, or he will bump you down a level.  If you check the Curio Shop often enough, you are bound to see an item or two you like.  Sometimes they cost less than they do in the W-Shop.  Also, if you need an item and can either buy it from the W-Shop or the Curio Shop, always buy it from the Curio Shop even if it's (reasonably) more expensive.

Gem Hunt Tips:

The most valuable gems can only be found in 1 mine. Here are the mines they can be found in:

Webkinz Diamond (White): Buried Bones Mine
Red Ruby Heart (Red): Muzzle Mouth Mine
Corona Topaz (Yellow): Barking Mad Mine
Earth Emerald (Green): Flea Floater Mine
Ocean Sapphire (Blue): Howling Horse mine
